Equipment Tips
"There is no bad weather, just inappropriate clothing." - says a folk wisdom.
But. There might be bad weather. And so that you do not stand in the rain
on the tour, you will receive a detailed packing list from us
Travel documents. Cycling is an outdoor sport and places high demands on
people and technology.
To make your holiday experience fun, we want to let you benefit from our
experience in terms of equipment.
What do I wear?
Always wear just the right thing and still get along easily and with little
material, that is our motto.
The ancient wisdom of the onion principle is still valid today. In addition
to short / short you should always have a small vest, sleevesand a
headband (chilling over the head is 40%) in the jersey pockets here.
(that has become a running gag "Always take yout vest with you")
We time the driver of our escort vehicle so that he still provides the care of
the latter and, first of all, is at the passport around you
Have immediate access to warm clothes, especially on cooler and windy
days. In our daily Biefing and also during the breaks, we will announce
how the weather is and recommend you appropriate clothing. Colored
bike clothing increases visibility and also makes your photos much more
interesting.
Gloves provide a pleasant grip and dampen the wrists with gel deposits
and reduce numb hands by relieving the pressure Capraltunnels.
The Roadbike
It should be well maintained and adjusted, if you have a new bike, it is
recommended before a road bike the corresponding pollsto have made so
that nothing hurts and bother you. The chain, gears and shifts should be
well maintained and fully functional. As tires recommend as on Road bike
increasingly 25 mm, as it can be driven with less pressure, ie 6.5 bar
and this is more comfortable. Please also remember to change the hoses
and coats in time, even if you have not had a long time these plates
become porous and pose a safety risk. The saddle, who has problems
with the bump, should think about an individually fitting saddle.
Of course we always cycle with helmets.
