South Africa is unique and almost indescribable! We start at the Cape of Good Hope, where we drive along the spectacular cliff along the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive. We stay overnight in beautifully decorated lodges and wineries, which are mostly run privately and surprise us every day in terms of style, location and warm hospitality. So it is often possible that we enjoy the culinary delights in the house, taste delicious wine and look forward to the wonderful experiences of the day. The exclusive selection of accommodation, as well as the beautiful, different nature with its table mountains will inspire you. The route takes us through extremely diverse areas. On our tour we are constantly accompanied by the escort vehicle. After the tour we go on safari in Addo Elephant Park. Day 1: Arriving by plane to Cape Town Day 2: 4 km - 1460 m ascent After breakfast we leave Cape Town along the east coast to the sensational Chapmann's Peak Drive. We visit the Table Mountain National Park and head to the Cape of the Good Hope. In Simonstown we have a great view of the sea and in the garden of our hotel nest penguins. Be careful, do not get too close, they will defend their nest ;-) Day 3: km - 600 m ascent Simonstown, visit the penguin colony and a historic windmill before we gallop to False Bay. Flotsam sticks in the sand and gives the bay a special charm. We continue to the wine-growing region to Stellenbosch, we stay in an old venerable vineyard. Day 4: km - m It goes along the Hottentots Nature Reserve with stunning mountain scenery over the Sir Lowry's Pass and Villjoen Pass through the Theewaters Kloof Dam along the Wemmershoek Mountains to Worcester. Day 5: 92 km - 330 m ascent We start with a fantastic view of the Hex River Mountains and drive along the Robertson Wine Route to Montagu in the Langberge. We overcome the Kogmanskloof Paas and spend the night in an incredibly exclusive lodge. Day 6: 78 km - 690 m ascent Today we drive into the Little Karoo desert, the landscapes are typically African, the steppe and vegetation is dry. We drive between Marloth Nature Reserve and Boosmanbos Wilderness Area into the Warmwaterberg Nature Reserve. It should not be missing a stop in Ronnie's Sex Shop. What is that? In any case very funny. Day 7: 64 km - 480 m ascent It goes to Ladismith and Calizdorp along the Rooiberge where we visit a historic church. We stay in a beautiful old ostrich farm with a great location. Day 8: Today we make a very comfortable stage and stay overnight at a Game Drive Lodge. Day 9: 53 km - 790 m ascent A monumental masterpiece today leads us very spectacularly across the Swartberg Pass through the Groot Swartberge to Prince Albert. (we need to take about 17 km unpaved road, eventually shuttle if the road is in bad conditions) Day 10: We drive along the large Swartberg through a spectacular gorge, the Meiringspoort and in the Kammanassieberge. We visit the Herriesklip and spend the night in an old mansion with a beautiful, spacious garden, which invites you to a tour. Day 11 :We drive through the Tsitsikamma mountains to Knysna to the sea in the Garden Route National Park. Day 12 and 13: We visit the Addo Elephant Park and stay overnight in a Safari Lodge. Day 14: Today we pass through the spectacular Baviaanskloof, a gorge and a nature reserve Day 15: Return via Mosselbay to Cape Town Day 16: Transfer and fly home
