We are LIVE !!! at the TOUR DE FRANCE !!! The most legendary Tour de France passes lined up like a string of pearls, one highlight chases the other and then being live at the Tour de France, how cool is that? !!! We are curious to see where this route will take us, one in advance, dive deep into the legendary cycling world of the Tour de ein France and ride these incredibly beautiful passes yourself, an unforgettable experience awaits you!!! We still have a few small but excellent pass pearls in store for you and look forward to this new route !!! Day 1: Arrival by luxury panorama bus from Garmisch via Switzerland !!! Tour only exemplary and will be adapted after the announcement of the route of the Tour de France 2023!!! Day 2: 64 km - 1910 m ascent We start with a highlight, the Col de La Loze, driven for the first time in 2020 in the Tour de France, this freshly asphalted, car-free road runs through the fantastically beautiful mountain landscape from Courchevel to Meribel. Day 3: 67 km - 1860 m optional 78 km - 2640 m The Col de la Madeleine has been part of the Tour de France programme 26 times so far. We quickly gain altitude, at first rather wooded we come to a beautiful pasture landscape with alpine flair, the pass becomes flatter and we reach the top of the pass, it sounds typical French accordion music from the small restaurant where we take a little rest before it goes down on great serpentines into the Maurienne Valley, but wait, today there is a very special delicacy like a marble run, a small pass stretches down a rock face, absolutely spectacularly !!! Day 4: 66 km - 1910 m optional 86 km - 2410 m We leave the valley of the Arc towards Col du Mollard, the air freshens up and we reach the "Rue panoramique" through small villages higher and higher, until we can already see the last serpentines of the Col de la Croix de Fer (Iron Cross). The Croix de Fer has already been ridden 18 times in the Tour de France. During a short rest we enjoy the absolutely fantastic, gigantic view of the mountains. Day 5: 59 km - 1750 hm optional 110 km - 3090 hm A great descent past a magical reservoir awaits us!!! Also today there is the option to make a few additional altitude meters, the Col de Glandon can be attached in the upper area or we make an extra ascent and sniff into it towards Alp d ́Huez. Day 5: LIVE AT THE TOUR DE FRANCE !!!! We position ourselves at the Col de Granon, the mountain finish of the 11th stage of the Tour de France !!! But before that we drive Alpe d ́Huez, the name alone makes you think of many battles that have been fought there. We won't crank up as fast as Pantani, but the flair of the Tour de France gives us powerful legs. These are the 21 serpentines and the most legendary climb in the Alps. After the fairground with finisher photos we show you the romantic side of the Alp (d ́Huez) and drive over a quiet little pass through a beautiful alpine landscape. It goes along a lake up to the Col du Lautaret, past the legendary ski resort of La Grave with the breathtaking glaciers of the Dauphine and de le Meje. Small city tour in ancient Briancon with its impressive fortifications and in the evening we enjoy the good French cuisine. Day 6: 95 km - 2690 m ascent Today it will be spectacular, the third highest pass of the Route des Grandes Alpes, the Col d ́Izoard is beautifully built. The Casse Dèserte (petrified desert) is gigantic, these are bizarre rock towers, the area is unique and very atmospheric. We reach the village of Chateau de Queras where we have lunch. Monte Viso, the Cottian king, towers over the Queras National Park. We continue through the Combe de Queras up to Col de Vars. Day 7: 64 km - 2480 m ascent Once again we go up to the Col de la Bonette with its beautiful ring road around the Cime de la Bonette, magnificent views of the maritime Alps await us. Beautiful descent past the ski resort Isola 2000 and through the Gorges de Valabres (gorge) we roll out the valley to step up again comfortably to the Col de Saint Martin, done and slowly we look forward to the sea. Today we reach the famous Mercantour Natural Park, where there are still wolves. Day 8: 83 km - 1790 m ascent Final spurt and yet not yet over, it is unbelievable what beautiful passes open up in the hinterland of Nice. The dreamlike Col de Turini is the first, followed by Col d ́Orme and the Col d ́Ablé and our last pass, the Col de Braus. We rush down to the sea, the Western Alps baptism by a jump into the sea awaits us and the jubilation over this hammer performance is great. It may be celebrated !!! Day 9: After breakfast, enjoy the beach for a short time and return via Switzerland !!! Tour only exemplary and will be adapted after the announcement of the route of the Tour de France 2023!!!
